Kiara Daniels leads development advisory at Northwest Investment Partners, advising developers, investors, nonprofits, and public-sector clients on projects where community context, public process, and commercial strategy intersect.

A Tacoma native and longtime Hilltop resident, Kiara brings a working knowledge of Pacific Northwest submarkets, municipal process, and the practical realities of building in complex urban environments. She holds a Master of Public Administration from The Evergreen State College, and her career has focused on affordable housing, local business development, and economic opportunity.

Kiara served as an At-Large Council Member for the City of Tacoma and chairs the Economic and Development Committee, where she leads work to advance new housing, support business stability, and streamline development review. She is also a co-founder of Impact Development Group, an organization focused on affordable housing development and expanding access to the field for Black and Brown women developers.
